The construction industry is one of the most affected sectors by accident.
In addition to compliance with basic preventive measures established by various organizations, Savoyarde Construction has searched for several years to reduce the risks associated with our activities. This approach is characterized by a contract signed with OPPBTP (Agency for the Prevention and Protection) and the establishment of an internal risk control tools and improving prevention.
Several actions have been made:
- Creation of a post of « safety correspondent » between the company and OPPBTP
- Buy the latest collective protection equipment (consoles gears, guardrails, protection of opening elevator…)
- Staff awareness campaigns on the operation of safety devices and the usefulness and effectiveness of collective and individual protection
- Creating a safety booklet informing new employees to the principles of risk prevention and the presentation of our running
- A safety training in the performance of work on site is provided to site managers, team leaders and concerned workers
- Periodic control on hoist systems (hoists, truck cranes, shovels, straps) and on wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
